It has long been known and found on the internet that Ephraim was born 8-13-1777. Can anyone confirm this?

Ephraim's gravestone states he died 12-18-1860, aged 80 years. That would make him born in 1780! Can anyone confirm this?

Ephraim was a Mason as seen by the inscription on his gravestone. He was a member of Sheboygan Lodge #11. When we found the gravestones, they had fallen and were mostly covered by soil and grass. Our sincere thanks to his Masonic Brothers for looking after the graves.
